Excuses. With all of this massive promo (which takes MONEY), they should be selling more. They’ve had one of the best promo campaigns I’ve seen for new(er) artists in years. There’s a disconnect.
Chloe and Hallie are very talented women, and they have been giving great performances and visuals this year.
The issue is that the album is a hard listen as a body of work. Track by some track or mixed into a playlist the songs work, but I find the singing, harmonies hard on the ears after a period of time.
They need to look to Zhané, Changing Faces and a few of the duos back in the day and harmonise less and and just so some outright singing over a banging track.
I enjoy Do It still and Forgive Me, but the rest I have to be in the mood.

Let’s look at other black girl groups like they had massive hits like Hold On, My Lovin’ (You’re Never Gonna Get It), & Don’t Let Go (Love) all timeless classics. SWV had hits like Someone; I’m So into You, & Right Here. En Vogue & SWV had instant hits soon as they were released you knew they were going to be classic songs. Now alien head Chloe X Halle are not capable of doing that.

Have you bought any album? Or it is more entertaining to disrespect and tear down the accomplishments of others due to your inability to be brave enough to pursue your own dreams and goals. These people in here tearing these girls down yet Chloe x Halle have literally been the ONLY ACT 2020 to literally be performing EVERYWHERE!!!! So all these people gaining more “success” are nowhere to be found performing CONSISTENTLY so it proves how these girls are winning. I hope Ungodly Hour gets a single and music video release. Its personally my favorite track off the album followed by Do It and Tipsy(which I think needs a Nicki/Doja remix).

Popular duos have always been opposites. Its exciting and keeps you mesmerized. I think it would cool to see one or them switch it up. Since they aren’t a trio or more such as Destiny Child, there is no need to have them looking like a girl group where they looks similar in style, hair, and aesthetics. Think Zhane, Outkast, Kid N Play, Will Smith and Jazzy Jeff, and other duos. Complete opposite duos that brought their own flavor to their music and imaging. For duos to work, they must be opposites. Their music is also not connecting very well. They need hits that sounds like hits. Sometimes less is more! They are Atlanta girls so go head down to Georgia and work with Atlanta producers to craft a cool sound and new image. Connect to those roots and one change their image.
